Climate change

I think that the whole world shall start now a climate change active policy. It means an agreement between several countries to save the planet by reducing the carbon footprint at global scale. As it requires a lot of political changes, it also involves the behavior of people (everyone of us).

Climate change is a problem that affects the entire world. And we can see its manifestations in the melting of the poles, or the ultra-rare rains in desert places. But it also has a lot of collateral problems: this weathers variations can extinguish an entire specie, which at long can result in the disappearance of ecosystem.

So I think, in general, we need more information an education about our environment and how to take care of the planet. Big populations need to learn how to live and ecologic lifestyle. I think that, whit a little of information, it’s not hard to do, but, the problem is that ecologic lifestyle is not comfortable. People likes to

People like to use one straw and then discard it. About a few weeks ago, a campaign against straws started, and people seems to understand the topic, while others are still asking for a straw. I think that a straw turns into garbage every second while I’m writing this. But the people are very comfortable, they never think that, maybe, they can have an own and recyclable straw in her bag or pocket, they are always expecting to use things and the discard it, that is a very bad habit and the society needs to change his mind.

Despite the fact of all of that, I think that the big responsible of this situation, the climate change, are the companies. They make the most of the pollution that is killing our planet. They deserve to be punished an it must stop, with more reason even if the president of the United States thinks that Climate change is fake.

Prison Break: In search of the truth

Prison Break is an all-time masterpiece series. I watched it in 2015. Prison break tells the story of two brothers. One of these was unfairly incarcerated by a criminal organization involved with the USA government. The serie narrate how Michael Scofield, the younger brother gets into prison to help their brother to run away from the jail.

The Starring’s are Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrows and Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield, the two brothers. Lincoln is a stoic and strong but hopeless man that awaits his time in the electric chair. He knows that he is innocent but he doesn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Michael is a noble man who always has good intentions for the other people. So, in a completely crazy event, Michael entered in a bank with a gun and he waited the police to come and gave himself to the cops.

There are many other remarkable characters, such as T-Bag (Robert Knepper), who is deranged criminal that is ever about to pass any ethical or human limit, or Alexander Mahone (William Fichtner) (SPOILER ALERT), a highly qualified detective that he persecuted the brothers for sky, sea and earth.

I like this show because it changes the entire plot in every chapter, making you freaking out. It also shows the most incredible and unimaginable technics to avoid the police control, inner and out the jail, making Prison Break a must-watch all-time classic that is why I totally recommend it. 

I only saw it once time, because it’s very long (81 chapters), but I probably see it again in the future. Recently, after seven years of abscence, a new season premiered. This fact caused a big hype throughout the fans, but, unfortunately, i didn’t’ see it yet. Many by the time or other things, i couldn’t find the moment to see it. The last season was premiered in Fox, but, as I don’t see much T.V., i didn’t notice that and I lost the first chapter. Anyway, i think that for completely enjoy the experience of see the last season, i need to see it all again jajaja.

Physical Education

I would really like to study physical education in the future. I don’t know if it’s going to happen, but certainly, I would love it. Many of the reasons are related to my interests, which are sports, in general, running, biking, and, specially, football (soccer).

So, I would like to study physical education to learn some critical knowledge about our human body and how it works, specially how can it works better for a better sports performance and a healthy lifestyle.

I also want to learn to play many sports as I can, which includes Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Baseball, Tennis, Athletics, and others. Although I have played some of these sports before, I really want to improve myself.

I think that Chilean universities could give me a good education and interesting programs, but also it would be nice to study in another place. I also dream with live in Argentina one day, so starting a new career there could be nice.

I think that nowadays doing sports is very difficult, because society don’t have interesting in these things. We can imagine a world in which Sports was a central area of our lives. This is not impossible, but, obviously, we need several political changes that encourage people to live a sportive and healthy life.

Sometimes I think: Why I’m here sitting in a chair the whole week while I could be practicing sports? This question freaks me out. At the same time, I like what I’m doing now, but that’s not the real point: the point is that, in this society, you need to be an engine of this system and produce goods and money. So, areas like arts or sports are really underrated in the society, unless you can go it professional, which is really sad. I would love a society in which both Arts and Sports have the same magnitude as Science.

Work and fields

Well, to star I really need to say that this is a very hard topic to talk about, I mean, for many of us. Trying to imagine our future is not easy, specially when you study social sciences, But, well, here is my try.

As a future psychologist, I would like to job in communitarian area. That’s means that I would like to work with a specific community and territory, in a specific space and time. My truly dream when I wonder about my working future is to work in a place or space that can mix the best of communitarian psychology, education, sports and healthy lifestyle. So, I dream about a kind of sport club that is looking for a psychologist to develop an impact social project, either with children, teenagers or adults.

Other area that I like is juridical or legal psychology. At the present time I’m not very sure in what specific area of this field, but I believe that this is a very critical and important job.

If this is ask a lot, or if I don’t have that luck, I don’t close the door to the clinical or educational area. I think I can deal with the job at school while I’m enjoying sharing time with the children, but also this work can be very difficult due to critical problems of each child or school.

Talking about studies, I would like to do a major, but, because I don’t decide my field yet, this topic also can wait a little bit more. I think that in the next semesters I can have a better idea of both topics, but, meanwhile, I maintain my first idea of working in a sports club.
